There are many different kinds of healthcare positions for which this type of screening is important. We already specifically pointed to CNAs as being the “top end” with regard to training that requires this sort of screening. Other examples of care providers and healthcare workers who would need to be put through this screening include workers at adult daycare centers, adult brain injury facilities, hospice agencies, home health agencies, rural health clinics, pain management centers, crisis receiving centers, aftercare facilities, therapeutic group homes, psychiatric residential treatment facilities and behavioral health services providers.
